This handy device is used to manually inspect rice quality.
Rice kernels are placed on the sample plate and light is reflected through the samples and viewed on the mirror. Discoloration, cracks, and imperfections are easily detected.
The TX200 provides a backlit method of conducting this type of evaluation.
The RN300 provides an computer driven method (with images) of conducting this type of evaluation.
The RN600 provides an automated mode of conducting this type of evaluation.
and the TX.This handy device is used to manually inspect rice quality.
Rice kernels are placed on the indented sample holder and light is reflected through the samples and viewed on the mirror. Discoloration, cracks, and imperfections are easily detected.
The RN500 provides an automated mode of conducting this type of evaluation.
No Longer Manufactured — Replaced by the C130 Powder Whiteness Tester
The C100 measured the whiteness of starch, flour, sugar, and other powders using selectable color filters. It is no longer in production. The C130 Powder Whiteness Tester is its direct replacement: smaller, faster, and able to store your own calibration curves. Contact Kett for replacement options and continued service support.
Digital Infrared Moisture Balance: Analytical Precision for Large Samples
A bench moisture balance combining infrared drying with a digital analytical balance, reading weight to 1 milligram and moisture to 0.01% on samples up to 300 grams. Programmable temperature and time with selectable measurement basis.
Large capacity: 1 to 300 gram samples on a 130 mm pan.
Selectable readout: 0.01% or 0.1% resolution, wet, dry, or dry-matter basis.
Programmable drying: 50 to 200 °C with time, continuous, and automatic modes.
Low-Moisture Paper Testing with Constant Probe Pressure
The K200 measured low moisture in kraft and liner papers using the electrical resistance method. Its lever-operated constant pressure probe applied identical contact force on every test, delivering repeatable readings in about two seconds without altering the sample.
Low-moisture ranges: Kraft 1.5 to 10% and liner board 5 to 15% moisture on the digital display
Constant pressure probe: Lever-press operation removed operator variation from every reading
0-100 reference scale: Graduated mode supported custom correlation curves for other paper grades
Dual-Mode Coating Thickness Gauge — Ferrous and Non-Ferrous, RS-232C, Integrated Printer - no longer in production
The LZ200J measured coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates in one instrument, with double calibration memory, RS-232C data output, and a built-in thermal printer. It has been replaced by the L500 dual-mode coating thickness gauge.
Dual mode: Ferrous and non-ferrous substrates in one unit
Two methods: Magnetic induction and eddy current
RS-232C output: Data transfer to computer
Double calibration memory: Four parameter sets per mode
