The KJT703 measures moisture and water activity continuously to 0.001% on open production lines: belt conveyors, screw conveyors, sluices, drop chutes, and gravity feeds. The sensor sees the product directly, scans at 0.1-second refresh, and reports moisture in real time. It shares the field-proven online platform of the KJT700 composition analyzer, configured for moisture measurement alone.

Solving Production Moisture Challenges

  • Spot checks miss most of your product: Pulling samples once per shift means most of production runs without measurement. The KJT703 delivers continuous moisture analysis at 0.1-second refresh, so every meter of product is verified, not just the sample on the lab bench.
  • Lab turnaround is too slow for process control: Oven-drying a moisture sample takes minutes to hours. By the time the result arrives, the line has already produced material against the wrong setpoint. The KJT703 closes the loop in real time, feeding live moisture data to your control system.

The KJT703 measures across an approximately 50 mm spot at 350 mm focal length, scanning continuously at 0.1-second refresh. Up to 99 moisture calibrations are stored on each sensor head, and multiple heads network to a single connection for multi-point installations across a production line. NIR reflectance keeps the measurement non-contact and non-destructive, with automatic zero adjustment and on-board self-diagnostics for unattended operation.
