Integrated Dual Coating Gauge — No Longer in Production
The LZ900 measured coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metal from a single integrated probe, with manual mode selection. It has been replaced by the LZ990, which detects the substrate automatically and adds memory and PC output in the same one-piece form factor.
Dual-substrate measurement: electromagnetic and eddy current readings, manual FE/AL mode select, both substrates included
Integrated probe: sealed handheld body, spring-loaded probe for curved and edged parts
Replaced by the LZ990: automatic substrate detection plus memory, longer range, and PC output for the same price
control in hay cubes is important for dairy farming exporters and importers. This specially designed model makes moisture control quick and simple.
To operate, place the resistance probe on the hay cube and the moisture is automatically displayed on the large analog dial in seconds. Colored zones are used for easy product acceptance or rejection.
Battery operation and light weight allow the MT8AH to be used for field testing.
Eddy current coating thickness gauge for coatings on aluminum, copper, and brass, no longer in production.
The LH370 measured insulating coatings on non-magnetic metal substrates from a single handheld unit. It has been succeeded by the L600S, which carries the same non-ferrous measurement with a larger color display, greater memory, and USB-C output.
No longer manufactured: The LH370 has reached end of life. The L600S is its current production replacement.
Eddy current measurement: Insulating coatings on aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-magnetic metals.
Field-ready memory: 100 application memories and storage for 3,000 measurement points, with data logging to a PC.
Growth of the livestock industry has brought increased demand for accurate moisture measurement in hay used as feed. However, excessive moisture may cause decomposition to occur, while overly dry hay results in loss of not only weight, but also nutritive value.
Using the principle of electric resistance, the probe inserted into the hay bale and the moisture content (8-25%) is displayed on the analog dial in seconds.
Electromagnetic coating thickness gauge for coatings on steel and iron, no longer in production.
The LE-370 measured non-magnetic coatings such as paint, plating, and lining on magnetic substrates from a single handheld unit. It has been succeeded by the L600S, which carries the same ferrous measurement with a larger color display, greater memory, and USB-C output.
No longer manufactured: The LE-370 has reached end of life. The L600S is its current production replacement.
Electromagnetic measurement: Non-magnetic coatings on iron, steel, and other magnetic substrates.
Field-ready memory: 100 application memories and storage for 3,000 measurement points, with data logging to a PC.
