Obsolete
This simple-to-use device allows the user to conduct accurate, continuous measurement of product components - without sampling, product contact, or degradation. Using the principle of near-infrared reflectance, items such as moisture, fat, protein, film thickness and carbon content (BTU) can be monitored and process control automated.
The system includes the PC, software, cables and connectors necessary to install a complete composition analysis system.
See: KJT500 for the brochure.
Obsolete
Designed for use on the production floor, moisture content can be transmitted to process control loops for automated monitoring and production optimization.
Integrated air purge, humidity, and temperature compensation provide measurement stability in the harshest of environments. The bright LED on the measurement head allows production staff to monitor levels without going to the control room. 99 product calibrations can be stored in each head, providing for years of product expansion and system utilization. The PC includes all cables and connectors needed to start operation.
Also included is Tracker, our integrated calibration, process monitoring and data collection system. This program provides a full relational database for data storage and analysis as well as real-time graphing program for process control.
See: KJT350 for the brochure.
No Longer Manufactured — Inline Whiteness Monitoring for Continuous Processes
The CN700-2 measured whiteness continuously on a production line, using two sensors to monitor two points at once without stopping the process. It is no longer in production and has no direct replacement in the current Kett lineup. Contact Kett for current measurement options and service support.
This system is similar to the KJT200, but uses a 1450nm filter for very high moisture content (65%+) applications. Can measure to 99.9% moisture. Not as stable as the KJT200 in lower moisture ranges (less than 50%).
Infrared Moisture Balance: Direct Reading, No Conversion Tables
A self-contained loss-on-drying moisture balance with a built-in precision balance. Dries a 5-gram sample under an infrared lamp and reads moisture content directly from 0 to 100% on its own scale.
Direct reading: moisture loss shown on the built-in scale, no calculation needed.
Adjustable heat: lamp height sets the drying temperature for different materials.
Broad materials: cereals, grain, flour, dairy, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, and fodder.
No Longer Manufactured. Replaced by the HB300 Portable Universal Moisture Meter.
The HB200 was a programmable moisture meter you calibrated to your own materials, measuring almost any solid, powder, paste, or sheet. It has been replaced by the HB300, which keeps the same simple operation and adds on-board data logging and time-stamped records.
Calibrate to your material: Stored up to 10 of your own product calibrations on separate channels.
Instant, non-destructive readings: Contact probe gave an immediate moisture value with no sample prep.
Portable and rugged: Battery-powered, with shoulder strap and carrying case for field use.
