Three-one motor

BLH300FT High Power Torque Trend Laboratory Mixer

See the Batch Change Before You Can. A batch that thickens, a reaction that finishes, a dispersion that finally breaks: the mixer feels each one as torque long before an operator sees it. This model puts that signal on a cable. Converted torque and speed stream out as analog signals to any data logger, so a viscosity trend becomes a curve on a screen instead of a guess. Underneath is the BLH300: 80 W, 2.6 N·m, 5 to 300 rpm held by feedback control.
  • Mixers killed by overload: The current limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that shut ordinary mixers down. No throw-away mixers, no burned-out windings, no throw-away batches.
  • Batches that finish when nobody is watching: Torque and speed stream out on the included cable to your data logger; the curve flattens when the reaction ends, and the record shows when.
  • Unmixed layers single-direction mixing leaves behind: Set forward and reverse cycles once and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run, breaking up the ring-shaped dead zones.

Butterfly Mixing Blade ø60 mm

Folds the Batch Without Beating Air Into It.

A wide, gentle profile that turns medium-viscosity material over without whipping in air. A ø60 mm anti-foaming blade from the Three-One general-purpose line, press-formed in SUS-316 for everyday laboratory service. Supplied as SUS-316 tip or SUS-316 boss.

  • Best for: syrups and shampoos around 10,000 mPa·s where foam is the enemy
  • Foam control: the flat butterfly section moves material in bulk at low shear, the chart's anti-foaming choice for medium viscosity
  • Fits every ø8 mm shaft: Tip mount fixes at the shaft end with the nut supplied on every Heidon ø8 mm shaft; boss mount clamps anywhere on the shaft with a set screw and stacks for multi-stage mixing

Price range: $11.00 through $24.00

Propeller R Mixing Blade ø50 mm

The Everyday Blade for Thin Liquids.

The marine-style propeller that most Three-One benches run first: strong axial flow, low shear, fast turnover of thin liquids. A ø50 mm circulation blade from the Three-One general-purpose line, press-formed in SUS-316 for everyday laboratory service. Supplied as SUS-316 tip, SUS-316 boss, or Titanium tip.

  • Best for: thin liquids up to about 1,000 mPa·s: water, juices, oils, solutions
  • Strong discharge: axial flow pulls material down the shaft and up the walls, the circulation pattern thin batches need
  • Fits every ø8 mm shaft: Tip mount fixes at the shaft end with the nut supplied on every Heidon ø8 mm shaft; boss mount clamps anywhere on the shaft with a set screw and stacks for multi-stage mixing

Price range: $7.00 through $28.00

Fan Mixing Blade ø38 mm

The Smallest Blade in the Line.

A compact fan profile for beakers, flasks, and sample volumes too small for a ø50 mm propeller. A ø38 mm circulation blade from the Three-One general-purpose line, press-formed in SUS-316 for everyday laboratory service. Supplied as a SUS-316 tip.

  • Best for: thin liquids in narrow vessels and small volumes
  • Small vessels: ø38 mm clears narrow beakers and flask necks where larger blades will not fit
  • Fits every ø8 mm shaft: Tip mount fixes at the shaft end with the nut supplied on every Heidon ø8 mm shaft

This model puts that signal on a cable. Converted torque and speed stream out as analog signals to any data logger, so a viscosity trend becomes a curve on a screen instead of a guess. Underneath is the BLH600: 80 W, 1.3 N·m, 10 to 600 rpm held by feedback control.

Turbine Mixing Blade ø86 mm

Shear for Dispersing and Dissolving.

A radial-flow turbine that puts shear into the batch: powders wet in, emulsions form, solids dissolve. A ø86 mm dispersing blade from the Three-One general-purpose line, press-formed in SUS-316 for everyday laboratory service. Supplied as SUS-316 tip, SUS-316 boss, or Titanium tip.

  • Best for: dispersing, emulsifying, and dissolving in thin liquids up to about 1,000 mPa·s
  • Shear work: radial discharge and blade edges break agglomerates and droplets that a propeller only stirs around
  • Fits every ø8 mm shaft: Tip mount fixes at the shaft end with the nut supplied on every Heidon ø8 mm shaft; boss mount clamps anywhere on the shaft with a set screw and stacks for multi-stage mixing
