PQ520 Single Kernel Grain & Rice Moisture Meter

Desktop single-kernel testing for moisture distribution. Measure kernels one at a time and see how the moisture is spread across your sample. Average moisture hides the variation that matters. The PQ520 measures each kernel individually and builds a distribution histogram, giving rice mills, grain processors, and harvest operations the information they need to time harvest, dial in drying, and verify lot consistency. Pour a sample, press start, and the average moisture and full distribution display on screen.

Per-kernel measurement: Each kernel is tested individually, then results combine into an average plus a full moisture distribution histogram.
Sustained throughput: Process 10 to 1,000 kernels per sample at roughly 150 kernels per minute, built for repeated measurement campaigns rather than one-off field checks.

Riceter F501 – Handheld Portable Moisture Meter – Rice, Wheat and Grains

Our F501 and Fg501 have been updated to our FV201. The largest selling moisture meter in the world, the Riceter sets the standard for handheld grain testers. This compact, battery-powered moisture tester can be carried on your belt, allowing you to have accurate measurements right in the rice paddy or anywhere you need to measure grain moisture. To operate, place several grains of rice, wheat, barley or oats in the sample holder. Insert the holder and twist the integrated grinder. The sample is measured using the capacitance circuit and the moisture percentage is displayed on the bright red LED. Moisture testing takes less than five seconds, allowing for rapid analysis of many samples. Up to nine consecutive measurements can be displayed and averaged.

PQ510 Single Kernel Grain & Rice Moisture Meter

Legacy desktop single-kernel grain and rice moisture meter. Replaced by the PQ520. The PQ510 was the second-generation desktop single-kernel moisture meter from Kett, refining the PQ500 design with expanded rice and barley calibration coverage while keeping the same desktop chassis. Current production has moved to the PQ520, which introduced a new chassis design with faster throughput, USB output, universal voltage, and significantly expanded calibrations.

Refined single-kernel design: DC resistance measurement of each kernel, with average moisture, kernel count, and LED histogram display. Sample sizes selectable from 10 to 1,000 kernels.
