An online moisture sensor watching a conveyor usually assumes a continuous bed of material. Discrete product breaks that assumption: gaps between items, a small target, and no time to average. The JE10 was built for exactly that case, using pulsed infrared emitting diodes to read fast enough to catch individual pieces as they pass.
The sensor mounts over the line with a separate display unit for the readout, and drives control systems directly through analog output. Universal power input covers 85 to 260 VAC, and the unit operates across a wide temperature and humidity band, including high humidity environments. It connects to Kett Tracker on a PC for data collection and analysis when longitudinal or lateral variation across a web needs to be tracked.
Each unit shipped with Kett’s One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance. Maintenance Agreements are available.
The JE10 is no longer manufactured, and there is no direct replacement in the current Kett lineup. Its combination of emitter based optics and a small, fast measurement spot has no exact equivalent today.
