The Riceter M401 is a portable rice moisture meter built for rice handlers and processors. Using an electric resistance reading with automatic temperature and grain-temperature compensation, it measures brown and polished rice directly on a backlit digital display.
The Riceter M401 is no longer manufactured. The current Riceter handheld is our FV201 Handheld Grain Moisture Tester, which covers brown rice, milled rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat in a faster, pocket-sized unit. Owners of a Riceter M401 needing service or a current equivalent should look to the FV201.
