Grainer II Handheld Portable Moisture Meter

Obsolete - See PM450. Designed to provide immediate, accurate readings of many grains, this unit does not require adjusting or temperature correction. As a fully electronic, built-in microprocessors, the Grainer is the world's simplest handheld multi-grain tester. Samples can range from 20-180 grams. Twenty-six calibrations are included with the system. Select the product calibration desired, pour the sample into the container and results are shown within five seconds. This system was replaced by the PM400, then the 410 and currently the PM450.

Automatic averaging is available for easy product qualification. An integrated bias adjustment may be used to improve correlation with local standards. In this instrument, the error codes identify problem readings or environmental conditions. The PM4044 Auto power off maximizes battery life. Operating temperature is from 0C to 40C. It also includes 4AA batteries and operating manual as well as sample cup and funnel. This system has replaced the PM300.

Paddy Rice Moisture Tester

This device allows the user to maintain correct moisture content when drying paddy rice in a circulator. Set the moisture control to the desired moisture content and turn the selector switch to the automatic mode. Using electrical resistance, individual kernels are captured in the sensor and moisture content obtained. The dryer will be stopped when the kernel moisture reaches the desired level. Correct drying will occur each time, optimizing production, while eliminating loss due to product variance.
