Grain and Pasta Moisture Tester

The PB3000 is obsolete and has been replaced by our PB3100 series. Please see the PB3100. The PB-3000 is a rice and grain moisture tester initially intended to measure the moisture content of rice imported to Japan. The base unit has been modeled after the PB-1D2 rice and grain moisture tester which is used by many companies and is highly valued for its precision and durability. In response to rice importation from various countries around the world, calibrations within this instrument will measure short, medium, and long grain rice. In addition, domestic (Japanese) brown and polished rice moisture can also be measured. Finally, calibrations are included for pasta, tapioca flour and corn flour. Fully electronic, with built-in microprocessors, the Grainer is the world's simplest, handheld multi-grain tester. Sample volume is 240cc. Twelve calibrations are included with the system. Select the product calibration desired, pour the sample into the container and results are shown within five seconds. A large LCD provides easy viewing. Automatic averaging is available for easy product qualification. An integrated bias adjustment may be used to improve correlation with local standards. In this instrument, the error codes identify problem readings or environmental conditions. The PM4044 Auto power off maximizes battery life. Operating temperature is from 0C to 40C. It also includes 4AA batteries and operating manual as well as sample cup and funnel. This system has replaced the PM300.
