Legacy desktop single-kernel corn moisture meter. No direct replacement in the current Kett lineup.
The PQ100 was Kett's single-kernel moisture meter for corn, measuring kernels individually using DC resistance and reporting average moisture, standard deviation, and a moisture distribution histogram. The two-piece design used a separate handheld controller with integrated thermal printer connected to the main measurement body. Corn processors and grain operations used it to detect uneven drying and verify lot consistency at the per-kernel level.
Corn-specific single-kernel design: DC resistance measurement of individual kernels, with measurement range of 9–40% and sample sizes from 11 to 599 kernels.
Two-piece form factor: Main measurement body plus separate handheld controller with LED display, keypad, and integrated thermal printer.
No direct replacement: The current Kett single-kernel measurement option is the RX inline series, automated for installed grain handling systems rather than desktop operation. Contact Kett for guidance.
in conjunction with several government agencies, the TA6 allows the user to easily test whole leaf tobacco.
Simply place the probe on the leaf and use the analog display to record the moisture value.
Sake Rice and Rice Koji Moisture Meter: Four Calibrations with Automatic Temperature Correction
The Riceter F7 measures moisture in sake polished rice, polished rice, brown rice, and sake rice koji, giving breweries and rice processors the readings that drive fermentation quality from a single compact instrument. Battery power and a backlit display keep it practical anywhere in the operation.
Dedicated koji calibration: Reads sake rice koji (karashi) moisture that general rice meters cannot.
Four sake-focused calibrations: Sake polished rice, polished rice, brown rice, and koji in one unit.
Automatic temperature correction: Holds accuracy as sample and ambient temperatures change.
Portable and battery-powered: Move it between the polishing room, koji room, and receiving.
Grain and Tapioca Moisture Tester: Built-In Crusher, Instant Readings, and Six Commodity Settings
Check moisture in paddy, rice, and tapioca in seconds, without a separate grinder or oven. An integrated crusher prepares the sample and the unit returns a reading in about three seconds, so handling and quality staff can act on the result immediately. Battery or AC power suits both the bench and the storage floor.
Integrated crusher: Crush and measure in one benchtop unit, with no separate grinder to maintain.
Six commodity settings: Dedicated calibrations for paddy, milled rice, parboiled rice, parboiled paddy, tapioca pellet, and tapioca flour.
Instant results: Moisture readings in about three seconds, with automatic sample-temperature compensation.
Bench or portable: Runs on AC or four D batteries for roughly 23 hours of continuous use.
Pasta Moisture Tester: Built-In Crusher, Instant Readings, and Six Wheat-Based Settings
Measure moisture in wheat, flour, noodles, and pasta in seconds, without a separate grinder or oven. An integrated crusher prepares the sample and the unit returns a reading in about three seconds, so production and quality staff can act on the result on the spot. Battery or AC power makes it equally suited to the line or the bench.
Integrated crusher: Crush and measure in one benchtop unit, with no separate grinder to maintain.
Six wheat-based settings: Dedicated calibrations for wheat, two flour types, noodle, pasta, and corn flour.
Instant results: Moisture readings in about three seconds, with automatic sample-temperature compensation.
Line or bench: Runs on AC or four D batteries for roughly 23 hours of continuous use.
