Riceter F501 – Handheld Portable Moisture Meter – Rice, Wheat and Grains

Obsolete - Our F501 and Fg501 have been updated to our FV201. The largest selling moisture meter in the world, the Riceter sets the standard for handheld grain testers. This compact, battery-powered moisture tester can be carried on your belt, allowing you to have accurate measurements right in the rice paddy or anywhere you need to measure grain moisture. To operate, place several grains of rice, wheat, barley or oats in the sample holder. Insert the holder and twist the integrated grinder. The sample is measured using the capacitance circuit and the moisture percentage is displayed on the bright red LED. Moisture testing takes less than five seconds, allowing for rapid analysis of many samples. Up to nine consecutive measurements can be displayed and averaged. See: Riceter for the brochure.

Grain and Pasta Moisture Tester

The PB3000 is obsolete and has been replaced by our PB3100 series. Please see the PB3100. The PB-3000 is a rice and grain moisture tester initially intended to measure the moisture content of rice imported to Japan. The base unit has been modeled after the PB-1D2 rice and grain moisture tester which is used by many companies and is highly valued for its precision and durability. In response to rice importation from various countries around the world, calibrations within this instrument will measure short, medium, and long grain rice. In addition, domestic (Japanese) brown and polished rice moisture can also be measured. Finally, calibrations are included for pasta, tapioca flour and corn flour.
