The Riceter J308 is a portable rice moisture meter from the J generation of Kett’s Riceter line. Using an electric resistance reading with automatic temperature and grain-temperature compensation, it measures brown and polished rice directly on a backlit digital display.

Service and Replacement

The Riceter J308 is no longer manufactured. The current Riceter handheld is our FV201 Handheld Grain Moisture Tester, which covers brown rice, milled rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat in a faster, pocket-sized unit.
