Online Moisture Measurement Where the Product Runs Wet

Slurries, pastes, and material coming straight off a wet process sit at moisture levels that push a standard configuration to its limits. The KJT330SH was the special order answer: the same self contained sensor head, factory configured with the high moisture zero standard so readings stay useful at the top of the range.

Solving the Practical Problems of Wet Line Measurement

  • Product at the top of the range: Factory configuration for high moisture work, ordered specifically for the application rather than adapted after the fact.
  • One product line, many products: 99 analytical curves live in the head, selected by keypad or by external contact input.
  • Readings trapped in the control room: A seven segment LED on the head displays moisture content, absorbance, and channel at the line.
  • Ambient conditions that move the reading: Temperature and humidity compensation, plus an offset function for raw material shifts.

Built for Production Line Duty

The head measures from 350 mm above the surface across a 50 mm spot, with no contact and no sampling. The aluminum casting is dust proof and drip proof, the air purge hood keeps the optical window clear, and the tungsten lamp and filter motor are both rated at 20,000 hours. It runs standalone driving a control system directly, or connects to a processor unit and PC for calibration and trending in Kett Tracker.

Each unit shipped with Kett’s One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance. Maintenance Agreements are available.

The KJT330SH is no longer manufactured. It was the high moisture version of the KJT330 sensor, identical apart from its factory configuration for wet product.
