The FD600 paired a 185-watt infrared drying lamp with an electronic precision balance, reading moisture directly by loss on drying on samples from 5 to 70 grams. Timed and continuous drying, automatic zero-taring, and a clear digital display made it a straightforward, cost-effective bench instrument for routine moisture testing in the lab and on the production floor.
The FD600 is no longer manufactured. The current Kett moisture balance is the FD660 Compact Moisture Balance, Kett’s current low-cost loss-on-drying balance with simple pour-and-push operation. Contact Kett for service options or help selecting a current model.
