The FD600 paired a 185-watt infrared drying lamp with an electronic precision balance, reading moisture directly by loss on drying on samples from 5 to 70 grams. Timed and continuous drying, automatic zero-taring, and a clear digital display made it a straightforward, cost-effective bench instrument for routine moisture testing in the lab and on the production floor.

Simple, Reliable Operation

• Direct moisture readout: the electronic balance tracks weight loss and shows moisture from 0 to 100% wet base, with no conversion tables required.
• Timed and continuous drying: set a drying time from 1 to 90 minutes, or run continuously until the reading settles.
• Automatic zero-taring: the balance re-zeros every 30 seconds during measurement, removing the zero drift common to electronic balances.
• Loss on drying: a primary gravimetric method measuring real weight loss across grain, flour, food, chemical, and similar materials.

Service and Replacement
