A high-output infrared loss-on-drying moisture balance with a 300-watt lamp and a larger 130 mm sample dish, for faster runs on bigger or wetter samples. Reads moisture or solid content with automatic endpoint detection and data output.

The FD620 paired a 300-watt infrared lamp and a larger sample dish with selectable moisture or solid-content readout. The higher-output lamp dried larger or wetter samples faster than the 185-watt models, while automatic auto-stop modes and RS-232C output handled endpoint detection and documentation.
The FD620 is no longer manufactured. The current Kett moisture balance is the FD660 Compact Moisture Balance, Kett’s current low-cost loss-on-drying balance with simple pour-and-push operation. Contact Kett for service options or help selecting a current model.
