The FD620 paired a 300-watt infrared lamp and a larger sample dish with selectable moisture or solid-content readout. The higher-output lamp dried larger or wetter samples faster than the 185-watt models, while automatic auto-stop modes and RS-232C output handled endpoint detection and documentation.

• 300-watt infrared lamp: higher drying output than the 185-watt models for faster runs on larger or wetter samples.
• Larger sample dish: a 130 mm dish holds more material where a representative sample needs the room.
• Moisture or solid content: switch the display between moisture and solid-component percentage, both read from 0 to 100%.
• Automatic and documented: auto-stop modes end the test when the reading settles, and RS-232C output sends results to a PC or thermal printer.
