• Coverage for the southern long-grain rice belt: Long paddy, long milled rice, and long brown rice each have a dedicated factory calibration. Receiving stations, mills, and growers across the Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas long-grain rice operations get accurate moisture readings without channel guessing.
• Dedicated parboiled rice channels: Two of the eight calibrations target parboiled product specifically: long parboiled milled rice and mixed parboiled paddy. Parboiled processors and rice import operations handling parboiled inventory get measurement accuracy that the previous-generation handheld did not provide.

The FV202 weighs about 0.44 kg (1 lb)and runs on four AA batteries with auto power-off after five minutes of inactivity. The rubber-coated handle improves grip and wear resistance over the previous-generation plastic handle. The backlit LCD reads clearly in low-light receiving and dock areas. Standard accessories include two sample trays, a spoon with tweezers, a cleaning brush, batteries, and a carrying case. Maintenance agreements are available from Kett.
