Handheld Grain Moisture Tester — Six Calibrations, Three-Second Cycle, Pocket-Sized
Built for the small-grain receiving workflow, the Riceter handheld grain moisture tester delivers a moisture reading in about three seconds with factory calibrations for brown rice, milled rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat. The pocket-sized form factor and battery power make it the right tool wherever moisture readings are needed in the field, on the receiving floor, or at the bench.
Six factory calibrations: Brown rice, milled rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat — covering the small-grain receiving and processing workflow.
Three-second measurement cycle: Twist-and-read operation with automatic dual temperature compensation for fast, repeatable results.
Pocket-sized and battery-powered: Goes wherever the grain is — field, truck, rail car, receiving floor, or bench.
Pasta as an additional application: Some pasta processors and users choose this handheld instead of a dedicated desktop tester. Some accuracy trade-off applies vs. a dedicated pasta unit.
Handheld Rice Moisture Tester — Eight Calibrations, Long-Grain and Parboiled Coverage, Three-Second Cycle
Built for the long-grain rice and parboiled rice workflow, the Riceter handheld rice moisture tester delivers a reading in about three seconds with eight factory calibrations covering long-grain paddy, milled, and brown rice, short-grain paddy, milled, and brown rice, plus dedicated channels for long parboiled milled rice and mixed parboiled paddy. The pocket-sized form factor and battery power make it the right tool wherever rice moves through harvest, milling, processing, or shipment.
Eight factory calibrations: Long-grain paddy, milled, and brown rice; short-grain paddy, milled, and brown rice; long parboiled milled rice; and mixed parboiled paddy.
Dedicated parboiled rice channels: Two parboiled-specific calibrations the predecessor FG512 did not include, built for parboiled processors and import/export operations handling parboiled product.
Three-second measurement cycle: Twist-and-read operation with automatic dual temperature compensation for fast, repeatable results.
Pocket-sized and battery-powered: Goes wherever the rice is located: field, mill, dryer, receiving floor, or shipping dock.
Inline Single-Kernel Moisture Monitoring — Rice, Paddy, and Wheat
Measure grain moisture continuously as it moves through your facility. The RX20 installs directly in the grain flow and reads single kernels in real time, giving millers and elevators live moisture data without pulling samples. A touch-panel controller, multi-sensor support, and data logging turn moisture readings into process control.
Continuous inline measurement: Reads moisture kernel by kernel at approximately 60 pieces per minute, right in the grain stream.
Up to ten sensors, one system: Monitor multiple points across intake, drying, and distribution from a single controller and PC.
Threshold alarms and reporting: Set moisture limits with siren alerts, and log results with histograms and standard deviation for homogeneity tracking.
Optional cloud access: View live data remotely and compare results over time, with five years of data updates included.
Desktop single-kernel testing for moisture distribution. Measure kernels one at a time and see how the moisture is spread across your sample.
Average moisture hides the variation that matters. The PQ520 measures each kernel individually and builds a distribution histogram, giving rice mills, grain processors, and harvest operations the information they need to time harvest, dial in drying, and verify lot consistency. Pour a sample, press start, and the average moisture and full distribution display on screen.
Per-kernel measurement: Each kernel is tested individually, then results combine into an average plus a full moisture distribution histogram.
Sustained throughput: Process 10 to 1,000 kernels per sample at roughly 150 kernels per minute, built for repeated measurement campaigns rather than one-off field checks.
Rice industry focus, extended: Calibrations cover long and short grain milled, brown, and paddy rice, jasmine, parboiled, sticky rice varieties, plus wheat and barley.
Data ready: RS-232C output for the optional thermal printer; USB output with optional PDL-01 data logger software for direct PC capture.
Dryer-Mounted Inline Moisture Monitoring — Continuous Single-Point Measurement
Mount it on a dryer or unloading station and measure grain moisture continuously as it flows. The PT2700 reads moisture in real time and can control the dryer automatically, stopping the drying cycle when grain reaches your target moisture. No computer required.
Continuous inline measurement: Reads moisture repeatedly during drying, with results on a clear on-unit display.
Automatic dryer control: Stops the dryer at your moisture setpoint, then manages cool-down before shutoff.
Three grain configurations: Choose the type matched to your crop, from paddy-only to multi-grain rice, wheat, and barley.
Built for the dryer environment: Single-kernel electrical resistance sensing with no sample handling and no consumables.
Portable Rice and Grain Moisture Meter
The Riceter F501 measures moisture in rice and small grains from a portable unit, with a simple crush-and-read workflow. Automatic temperature compensation keeps readings steady in the field.
Rice and grain: Brown and polished rice plus small grains in one unit.
Direct reading: Crush, insert, and read the moisture percentage.
Automatic temperature compensation: Holds accuracy as conditions change.
