The Riceter L is the portable rice and grain moisture meter that set the standard for handheld moisture testing. Using an electric resistance reading with automatic temperature compensation, it measures brown and polished rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat directly, with a built-in rice husker for preparing paddy samples.

What the Riceter L Measures

• Rice and paddy: Brown and polished rice from 11 percent, paddy to 30 percent, and a dedicated paddy-in-dryer range for monitoring grain during drying.
• Barley and wheat: Barley, naked barley, and wheat calibrations for mixed-grain operations.
• Built-in husking: An included rice husker prepares paddy samples for brown-rice measurement in the field.

Service and Replacement

The Riceter L is no longer manufactured. The current Riceter is our FV201 Handheld Grain Moisture Tester, which covers brown rice, milled rice, paddy, barley, naked barley, and wheat in a faster, pocket-sized unit.
