Description
Torque That Shrugs Off Your Thickest Materials
Grab the shaft by hand mid-run and the speed barely moves. That margin is what stands between your batch and the surprises a run can throw at it: an unforeseen reaction that thickens the sample, a viscosity climb during an overnight run with nobody in the room. Set any speed from 5 to 300 rpm and automatic feedback control holds it there, from the first minute to the last. Pastes, creams, gels, and slurries get the same mix every run.
Solving the Hard Problems in High Viscosity Mixing
- Overload failures that kill the mixer: The current limiter protects the motor from burning out under load. This is an instrument you service and keep, not a throw-away mixer you replace.
- Overload shutdowns that kill the batch: The same limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that cut ordinary mixers off. Your process stays running and the batch survives.
- Speed drift as the batch thickens: Automatic speed feedback compensates for rising viscosity in real time. No manual correction, no drifting results.
- Shear-sensitive and gentle work: A true 5 rpm floor supports slow suspension, crystallization, and delicate dispersions that ordinary mixers spin too fast to handle.
- Unmixed layers in the vessel: Set your forward and reverse cycles once, 5 to 60 seconds each, and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run. The ring-shaped regions that single direction mixing leaves behind never form.
Built for the Formulation Bench
The spark-free brushless motor runs quietly in a sealed body weighing just 2.2 kg, with a keyless collet chuck for fast shaft changes and a stop timer programmable from 30 minutes to 24 hours for unattended runs. Part of the Heidon Three-One Motor line, manufactured by Shinto Scientific and sold and supported in the US by Kett, with every configuration backed by the One-Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance.
Three ways to order. Motor Only is the drive unit alone, ready for the shafts and blades you already run. The P configuration adds the FS7 blade set and a 500 mm stainless steel shaft for a working setup out of the box. The S configuration adds the stand, completing a full mixing station.
Mixing materials at higher speeds? The BLH600 High Power Laboratory Mixer carries the same 80 W drive to 600 rpm for medium viscosity work.
Working with smaller batches? The BL300 Laboratory Mixer brings the same 5 rpm floor and reverse rotation to the 40 W class for batches up to about 5 liters.
