Description
Speed for Thin Batches, Torque for When They Thicken
Set 1200 rpm to draw a powder down and dissolve it, or 20 rpm to fold a shampoo base without foaming it, and automatic feedback control holds the speed there as the material changes under the blade. The 1200 rpm model of the 80 W Three-One Motor series brings 0.7 N·m of torque to the medium-low viscosity work that fills most solution-prep and personal-care benches: syrups, shampoos, thin sauces, and the solutions that build viscosity as they run.
Solving the Hard Problems in Medium-Low Viscosity Mixing
- Overload failures that kill the mixer: The current limiter protects the motor from burning out under load. This is an instrument you service and keep, not a throw-away mixer you replace.
- Overload shutdowns that kill the batch: The same limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that cut ordinary mixers off. Your process stays running and the batch survives.
- Speed drift as the batch thickens: Automatic speed feedback compensates for rising viscosity in real time. No manual correction, no drifting results.
- A fast mixer that runs out of torque: 0.7 N·m, more than double the 40 W class at the same speeds, keeps a thickening batch turning at the rate you set instead of slowing toward a stall.
- Unmixed layers in the vessel: Set your forward and reverse cycles once, 5 to 60 seconds each, and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run. The ring-shaped regions that single direction mixing leaves behind never form.
Built for the Formulation Bench
The spark-free brushless motor runs quietly in a sealed body weighing just 2.2 kg, with a keyless collet chuck for fast shaft changes and a stop timer programmable from 30 minutes to 24 hours for unattended runs. Part of the Heidon Three-One Motor line, manufactured by Shinto Scientific and sold and supported in the US by Kett, with every configuration backed by the One-Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance.
Three ways to order. Motor Only is the drive unit alone, ready for the shafts and blades you already run. The P configuration adds the FS7 blade set and a 500 mm stainless steel shaft for a working setup out of the box. The S configuration adds the stand, completing a full mixing station.
Need more torque? The BLH600 High Power Laboratory Mixer nearly doubles the torque to 1.3 N·m for creams, gels, and syrups.
Working with smaller batches? The BL1200 Laboratory Mixer brings the same 20 to 1200 rpm range and reverse rotation to the 40 W class for batches up to about 5 liters.
