BL600 Laboratory Mixer

The Mixer Most Benches Start With.

Ask a formulation lab which mixer has been on the bench longest and it is usually a 600. The 600 rpm model of the 40 W line covers creams, gels, and syrups at low speed and dissolves and disperses thin liquids at the top, with feedback control holding the speed you set as the batch changes under the blade.

  • Mixers killed by overload: The current limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that shut ordinary mixers down. No throw-away mixers, no burned-out windings, no throw-away batches.
  • Buying two mixers to cover one bench: 0.7 N·m at 10 rpm turns creams and syrups; 600 rpm at the top dissolves and disperses thin liquids. One motor, one chuck, one set of blades.
  • Unmixed layers single-direction mixing leaves behind: Set forward and reverse cycles once and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run, breaking up the ring-shaped dead zones.

Price range: $1,795.00 through $2,195.00

Description

One Speed Range for the Everyday Bench

Set any speed from 10 to 600 rpm and automatic feedback control holds it there as the material thickens, thins, or does something you did not plan for. The 600 rpm model of the 40 W Three-One Motor series brings 0.7 N·m of torque to medium-high viscosity work in bench-size batches: creams, gels, and syrups, and the batches that change as they run.

Solving the Hard Problems in Medium-High Viscosity Mixing

  • Overload failures that kill the mixer: The current limiter protects the motor from burning out under load. This is an instrument you service and keep, not a throw-away mixer you replace.
  • Overload shutdowns that kill the batch: The same limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that cut ordinary mixers off. Your process stays running and the batch survives.
  • Speed drift as the batch thickens: Automatic speed feedback compensates for rising viscosity in real time. No manual correction, no drifting results.
  • A bench that mixes thick and thin: 0.7 N·m of torque handles creams and syrups at low speed; the 600 rpm ceiling dissolves and disperses thin liquids without switching to a second mixer.
  • Unmixed layers in the vessel: Set your forward and reverse cycles once, 5 to 60 seconds each, and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run. The ring-shaped regions that single direction mixing leaves behind never form.

Built for the Everyday Bench

The spark-free brushless motor runs quietly in a sealed aluminum body weighing just 2.0 kg, a design unchanged in its essentials since the first Three-One Motor of 1966. A keyless collet chuck makes shaft changes fast, the simple safety cover ships in the box, and a stop timer programmable from 30 minutes to 24 hours covers unattended runs. Part of the Heidon Three-One Motor line, manufactured by Shinto Scientific and sold and supported in the US by Kett, with every configuration backed by the One-Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance.

Three ways to order. Motor Only is the drive unit alone, ready for the shafts and blades you already run. The P configuration adds the FS7 blade set and a 500 mm stainless steel shaft for a working setup out of the box. The S configuration adds the stand, completing a full mixing station.

Need more torque at the same speeds? The BLH600 High Power Laboratory Mixer nearly doubles the torque to 1.3 N·m in the same body.

Want the motor to stop the moment the cover opens? The BL600SAF Safety Laboratory Mixer adds the interlocked full-guard cover to the same drive.
