The PM600 measures moisture across a 240 mL sample and returns an instant, non-destructive reading along with the sample’s density in grams per liter. It compensates automatically for the actual density and temperature of each sample, so results stay consistent, and it outputs every reading over RS-232C for printed or digital records.

• Documented records: an RS-232C port sends results to a printer or PC, so test data is captured rather than transcribed by hand.

• Automatic density and temperature compensation: an integrated load cell measures the actual density of each sample and a built-in sensor corrects for temperature.

Built for Receiving and Trade Verification

At 1.5 kg and powered by four AA batteries, the PM600 brings documented moisture and density testing to the receiving floor, the trade desk, and the warehouse. Memory backup retains your settings, and a per-product bias adjustment aligns readings to your reference.

Service and Replacement

The PM600 is no longer manufactured. The upgraded instrument is our PM650 Instant Grain and Seed Moisture Meter, which expands coverage to 150+ factory calibrations with custom calibrations available. Kett continues to provide parts, service, and support for PM600 units already in the field.
