Automatic Moisture Control for Paddy Rice Drying

The PT2400 mounts directly to a circulating paddy dryer and measures kernel moisture continuously as grain passes through. Set the target moisture, turn the selector to automatic, and the system stops the dryer the moment the paddy reaches the level you want, for consistent drying every cycle without over-drying or manual sampling.

• Over-drying wastes weight and energy: Automatic shutoff at your setpoint dries paddy to target, not past it.
• Manual sampling interrupts the run: Continuous inline reading means no scooping and no stopping the dryer to check moisture.
• Drying areas are hot and dusty: A single-kernel resistance sensor reads in the grain flow with few moving parts for dependable, long-term operation.
• Local crops vary: Manual mode and a bias-correction dial let operators fine-tune drying and correlate readings to a local reference.

Service and Replacement

The PT2400 is no longer manufactured. The upgraded instrument is our PT2700 Inline Grain Moisture Monitor, which brings the same dryer-mounted single-kernel control to paddy plus additional rice varieties, wheat, and barley, and adds an RS-232C output for data records. Units already in service are still supported: the PT2400 carries the One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance, with Maintenance Agreements available.
