A blue LED light source runs cooler and lasts longer than the older lamp design, and the instrument is ready to measure about 20 seconds after power-on. At 5 kg and a compact footprint, it moves easily between bench and line. Universal 100–240V power means no voltage dial to set. Routine upkeep is a one-minute wipe of the single glass filter.
