Objective Rice Grading, Now Carried Forward by the RN700E
The RN300 is no longer manufactured. It is replaced by the standalone RN700E Rice Quality Analyzer, which delivers the same objective, operator-independent grading in a self-contained unit that needs no external computer. The RN300 information below is retained for owners of existing units.
What the RN300 Did
- Per-kernel classification: a sealed optical scanner imaged each kernel, and the QualityScan software classified brown and milled rice against grading criteria, correlating every image to its data one to one.
- Configurable grading: samples were graded against standard or customized classification criteria, with results presented both numerically and optically for quick verification.
- Records and reporting: results exported to Excel up to 10,000 records, with grain zoom for inspection and an included thermal printer for hard-copy reports.
Service and Replacement
The RN300 was backed by a One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance, with maintenance agreements available. Owners of existing units can contact Kett for service support through our regional agents across the Americas, with calibration through Kett’s US and Tokyo laboratories.
