electromagnetic coating gauge

LZ990 Integrated Coating Thickness Gauge

Dual-Substrate Coating Gauge — Automatic Detection, One-Piece Design Measure coatings on steel, aluminum, and other metals with a single handheld gauge. The LZ990 senses the substrate and selects the right measurement method on its own, so there is no probe to swap and no mode to set by hand.
  • Automatic substrate recognition: Reads ferrous and non-ferrous parts without operator input
  • 0 to 2000 um range: Covers thin plating through heavy coatings in one tool
  • Onboard memory and statistics: Stores about 1000 readings with USB and RS-232C output
  • 16 calibration channels: Store setups for repeat jobs, with a lower-limit alarm

LZ373 Dual Coating Thickness Gauge

Dual-substrate coating thickness gauge with expanded data logging, no longer in production. The LZ373 measured non-magnetic coatings on steel and insulating coatings on aluminum, copper, and brass from a single handheld unit, adding high-capacity data storage for operators logging large measurement runs. It has been succeeded by the L600S, which carries the same dual capability with a larger color display, greater memory, and USB-C output.
  • No longer manufactured: The LZ373 has reached end of life. The L600S is its current production replacement.
  • Dual measurement: Electromagnetic and eddy current modes in one unit, covering both magnetic and non-magnetic substrates.
  • High-capacity logging: Storage for roughly 39,000 measurement points, the data-logging member of the L3xx series.

LE373 Ferrous Coating Thickness Gauge

Electromagnetic coating thickness gauge with expanded data logging, no longer in production. The LE373 measured non-magnetic coatings such as paint, plating, and lining on magnetic substrates, adding high-capacity data storage for operators logging large measurement runs. It has been succeeded by the L600S, which carries the same ferrous measurement with a larger color display, greater memory, and USB-C output.
  • No longer manufactured: The LE373 has reached end of life. The L600S is its current production replacement.
  • Electromagnetic measurement: Non-magnetic coatings on iron, steel, and other magnetic substrates.
  • High-capacity logging: Storage for roughly 39,000 measurement points, the data-logging member of the L3xx series.

LZ900 Integrated Dual Coating Thickness Gauge

Integrated Dual Coating Gauge — No Longer Manufactured The LZ900 measured coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metal from a single integrated probe, with manual mode selection. It has been replaced by the LZ990, which detects the substrate automatically and adds memory and PC output in the same one-piece form factor.
  • Dual-substrate measurement: electromagnetic and eddy current readings, manual FE/AL mode select, both substrates included
  • Integrated probe: sealed handheld body, spring-loaded probe for curved and edged parts
  • Replaced by the LZ990: automatic substrate detection plus memory, longer range, and PC output for the same price

LZ370 Dual Coating Thickness Gauge

Dual-substrate coating thickness gauge for ferrous and non-ferrous work, no longer in production. The LZ370 measured non-magnetic coatings on steel and insulating coatings on aluminum, copper, and brass from a single handheld unit, switching between electromagnetic and eddy current probes. It has been succeeded by the L600S, which carries the same dual capability with a larger color display, greater memory, and USB-C output.
  • No longer manufactured: The LZ370 has reached end of life. The L600S is its current production replacement.
  • Dual measurement: Electromagnetic and eddy current modes in one unit, covering both magnetic and non-magnetic substrates.
  • Field-ready memory: 100 application memories and storage for 3,000 measurement points, with data logging to a PC.
