Portable Brown Rice Sample Preparation, Anywhere
An accurate rice moisture reading starts with a properly husked brown rice sample. The TR130 makes that sample anywhere, with no power source: a simple hand-crank husker small enough to carry to the field, the elevator, or the inspection bench.
How the TR130 Works
- Husk anywhere, no power: Pour paddy into the hopper, close the lid, and turn the crank. Brown rice is moved automatically to a separate case for the moisture test, and husk is discarded from its own box.
- Clean and enclosed: The husking is completely contained, so there is no scatter and no hand-sorting before the test.
- More consistent readings: Uniform brown rice from machine husking gives more stable, repeatable moisture results than hand-prepared samples.
- Serviceable rollers: The two-roller assembly is field-replaceable as it wears, keeping husking efficiency up over years of use.
Built for the Field and the Bench
The TR130 weighs about 0.2 kg in a compact 112 x 79 x 70 mm body and processes roughly an 8-gram sample per husking. It works best with paddy in the 12 to 18% moisture range. Backed by Kett’s Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance. Maintenance Agreements available. With 80 years of grain measurement experience behind it, the TR130 is the standard by which rice testing tools are measured.
Husking many samples per shift? The TR270 Automatic Rice Husker husks a 20-gram sample at the press of a key, with separate discharge trays for higher-volume receiving and inspection.
Ready to test moisture once the sample is husked? The FV202 Handheld Rice Moisture Tester reads brown or milled rice moisture in about three seconds with eight factory calibrations.
