Inline Moisture Control Across Rice and Grain

The PT2600 mounts to a circulating dryer and measures kernel moisture continuously as grain passes through. Where the earlier paddy-only system handled a single crop, the PT2600 carries calibrations for milled, brown, and paddy rice along with barley, wheat, and naked barley, so one dryer-mounted unit controls drying across a broader mix of crops.

Built for the Drying Floor

• Over-drying wastes weight and energy: Automatic shutoff at your setpoint dries grain to target, not past it.
• Manual sampling interrupts the run: Continuous inline reading means no scooping and no stopping the dryer to check moisture.
• Drying areas are hot and dusty: A single-kernel resistance sensor reads in the grain flow with few moving parts for dependable operation.

Service and Replacement

The PT2600 is no longer manufactured. The current instrument is our PT2700 Inline Grain Moisture Monitor, which continues dryer-mounted single-kernel control with selectable configurations for paddy varieties, rice, wheat, and barley, plus an RS-232C output for data records. Units already in service are still supported: the PT2600 carries the One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance, with Maintenance Agreements available.
