Description
The Blade Turbine in the Blade System
A flat-blade turbine with the sharper edges and tighter tolerances of the handmade line, for dispersing work a pressed turbine cannot finish. Heidon’s selection chart places it in the dispersing column for dispersing and dissolving in thin to medium liquids. Supplied in ø80 mm.
Choosing It Over the Alternatives
- Radial discharge: flat blades throw material outward, drawing fresh batch into the shear zone
- Vessel match: above 10,000 mPa·s, choose a blade diameter of at least 60 percent of the vessel diameter; the size steps in this line exist for that rule
- Combination mixing: pair a shear blade with a circulation blade on one shaft when a batch needs both dispersing and turnover
In the Box and On the Shaft
Blade only; shafts are sold separately and in the FS blade sets. Fits every Three-One Motor mixer that takes the ø8 mm shaft. Backed by our One-Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance.
Need the shaft too? The ø8 mm Mixing Shaft SUS-316 comes in five lengths with the retaining nut included.
