What the AW-MO Did

• Direct analog reading: A uniform meter scale showed moisture content the instant the 4-needle probe made contact, with no digital processing.
• Penetrating resistance method: The needle probe measured DC electrical resistance through the wood for a true internal moisture value.
• Built-in battery check: A dedicated switch position confirmed sufficient voltage before measurement, avoiding bad readings from weak batteries.
• Working range to 35%: Covered the practical drying and storage moisture band on a dry-weight basis.
