Laboratory Mixers and Mixing Systems

BLW300, BLW600, BLW1200, BLW3000 Mini Plant Class Agitators

BLW3000 Heavy Duty Laboratory Mixer

3000 rpm Shear for Pilot-Size Emulsions. Emulsions and dispersions at pilot scale need the same shear as on the bench, in a vessel ten times the size. The 3000 rpm model of the 120 W Three-One Motor series delivers it with 0.4 N·m, four times the 40 W class, and always starts from the lowest speed so the blade meets the liquid gently. Feedback control holds any setting from 50 to 3000 rpm as the batch forms.
  • Mixers killed by overload: The current limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that shut ordinary mixers down. No throw-away mixers, no burned-out windings, no throw-away batches.
  • Emulsions and dispersions that never quite finish at scale: 3000 rpm delivers the shear that thin-liquid dispersing and emulsifying need, with four times the torque of the 40 W class to hold that speed in a large vessel.
  • Unmixed layers single-direction mixing leaves behind: Set forward and reverse cycles once and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run, breaking up the ring-shaped dead zones.

BLH300SAF High Power Safety Laboratory Mixer

Open the Cover. The Motor Stops. A safety cover only works if it is closed, and the one that gets left open is the one that gets someone hurt. This model wraps the BLH300 in a full-guard acrylic cover with an interlock: lift it and the motor stops, close it and the run resumes. Underneath is the same 80 W drive, 2.6 N·m and 5 to 300 rpm held by feedback control, built for pastes, creams, and gels.
  • Mixers killed by overload: The current limiter keeps the motor driving through loads that shut ordinary mixers down. No throw-away mixers, no burned-out windings, no throw-away batches.
  • Covers that get left open: The interlock cuts the motor the moment the cover lifts. There is no way to run it open, so there is nothing for a rushed operator to forget.
  • Unmixed layers single-direction mixing leaves behind: Set forward and reverse cycles once and the mixer alternates automatically for the entire run, breaking up the ring-shaped dead zones.
