The PQ100 was Kett's single-kernel moisture meter for corn, measuring kernels individually using DC resistance and reporting average moisture, standard deviation, and a moisture distribution histogram. The two-piece design used a separate handheld controller with integrated thermal printer connected to the main measurement body. Corn processors and grain operations used it to detect uneven drying and verify lot consistency at the per-kernel level.
Corn-specific single-kernel design: DC resistance measurement of individual kernels, with measurement range of 9–40% and sample sizes from 11 to 599 kernels.
Two-piece form factor: Main measurement body plus separate handheld controller with LED display, keypad, and integrated thermal printer.
