Non-Destructive Wood Moisture Meter (Moco II) — No Longer Manufactured
The HM530, also known as the Moco II, measured wood moisture through surface contact using high-frequency capacitance, leaving no pin marks. It has been replaced by the HM540, which carries the same non-destructive method forward with a wider species range and added data logging.
Non-marking measurement: read moisture through the surface without driving pins into the wood.
Wide range: 2 to 150% moisture content across more than 400 species.
Replaced by the HM540: the current model adds 999-point memory, USB logging, and JHWTC certification.
