Description
Two Components, One Reading, No Sampling
Moisture alone often is not the number that decides whether product is in spec. The KJT400 measured moisture plus one organic constituent continuously on the line, using near-infrared reflectance so nothing was sampled, touched, or taken out of production to get the answer.
Solving the Practical Problems of Composition Measurement
- Two numbers, two instruments: Moisture and one organic constituent come from the same head in the same reading, rather than from separate measurements taken at different times.
- Lab turnaround that arrives too late: Results are continuous and immediate, so an out of spec trend is visible while the run is still correctable.
- Sampling that costs product: Measurement is non contact and non destructive, so nothing is removed from the batch or altered by testing.
- Ambient conditions that move the reading: Temperature compensation, humidity compensation from a sensor built into the air purge hood, and an offset function for raw material shifts.
Built for Production Line Duty
The head measures from 350 mm above the surface across a 50 mm spot and responds in approximately two seconds. It stores 99 analytical curves fitted from your own reference values, and drives control loops directly through analog output. The aluminum casting is dust proof and drip proof, the air purge hood keeps the optical window clear, and the tungsten lamp and filter motor are both rated at 20,000 hours. Kett Tracker on the connected PC handles calibration, trending, and data collection, and additional heads could be added up to four per processor board.
Each system shipped with Kett’s One Year Total Care Warranty covering parts, labor, and specification compliance. Maintenance Agreements are available.
