Cheap Insurance for Glassware

A shaft that slips in the chuck drops until the blade hits the vessel. On a steel tank that is noise; on a beaker it is the end of the batch and the glass. The stopper clamps on the shaft above the chuck so it cannot fall past it.

What to Know Before Ordering

• Where it fits: above the chuck, on the through-shaft
• Adjustment: set once per shaft length with the included L-wrench
