The Fan in the Blade System

A compact fan profile for beakers, flasks, and sample volumes too small for a ø50 mm propeller. Heidon’s blade selection chart places the Fan in the circulation column for thin liquids in narrow vessels and small volumes. Supplied as a SUS-316 tip. A reverse-twist L version is available on request for shafts turning the opposite direction.

Choosing It Over the Alternatives

• Small vessels: ø38 mm clears narrow beakers and flask necks where larger blades will not fit
• Vessel match: above 10,000 mPa·s, choose a blade diameter of at least 60 percent of the vessel diameter; below that, a ø38 mm blade suits bench vessels from beakers to small tanks
• Mounting: tip mount seats against the shaft nut, so blade changes take seconds with the chuck open
