We have a KJT270 composition meter where we measure moisture and oil content. Are the measurements based on weight? NN

This is a great question. The value (usually %) will be based on what was used for the calibration. Generally, this is weight. When your unit was originally calibrated, your team would have used a 'referee' method to provide the lab values. The Kett would be in the same units of measure as that instrument or method.
