How does an NIR analyzer work?

We bounce a beam of light off the product. The light is filtered to wavelengths that excite the molecule(s) we want to measure. The light is absorbed based on the concentration of molecules. We measure the absorbed light and convert that value back into a concentration. This provides the user with instant, non-contact, non-destructive measurements.
