The hand-tightening chuck ships configured for ø8 mm shafts. These collets extend it to the thinner shafts that specialty blades and small vessels demand, keeping concentric grip and reverse rotation capability at every diameter.

Matching Collet to Shaft

• ø2 and ø4 mm: Fine shafts for small vessel and low volume work
• ø5 mm: The steel core diameter used by most Teflon-coated blades
• ø6 mm: Intermediate shafts
• ø8 mm: The standard system diameter, as a replacement collet
