How many samples are needed for a calibration

For moisture, two samples give a straight line... and a perfect calibration!  But it's not usually enough for validated work.  Generally, seven to eleven discrete samples are needed.  If you want to be safe, have another seven to eleven to test on the calibrated system to confirm the calibration.
