We are having problems with our KB-230. Had been working properly up until recently. The turntable has quit turning. When we turn it on, the turntable will turn for apprx 10-15 sec, BEEP & then stop. Will say something like WARMING UP TURN ... Turntable does not start back up. Will not go any further than the WARMING UP.

Thank you for the inquiry. When you power up the sensor, the zero plate/turntable spins until it "zeros". Then, the turntable only works when you run a test and depends on the settings.
1. Are you displaying moisture or absorbance values?... put the 1/infinity/x button to change to moisture (1 is sample, infinity is continuous mode)... (x shows the absorbance values)
2. Is the turntable activated? Press the round arrow so that the red light is lit

If the red light is lit (active) and you are in continuous, the turntable will run continuously... if in sample mode, it will only run when you press the "measure" button... again for about 6-10 seconds.
