Kett introduces the FD line of moisture determination balances for laboratory and QC use. Using Infrared heat to efficiently and effectively evaporate the water from samples, these units provide considerable advantages over conventional methods of moisture determination. All Kett moisture balances are equipped with standard features that make them indispensable in the laboratory or QC:

Integrated Precision Balances: Provide accurate weight readings to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of moisture measurements.

Three Measurement Modes: Timed, automatic, and continuous measurement modes allow for the most efficient measurement, and ensure that the individual samples are subjected to identical conditions.

The FD-100 utilizes a ceramic coil to generating the heat. This provides widest range of heating, and allows for a fast-drying measurement mode without scorching the sample.

The FD-230 has the largest balance capacity of the Kett units, enabling larger samples to be tested. An RS232 output port permits data transfer to a personal computer. The 230 also has a full-function remote control for operation of the unit from a distance. Accuracy to .01% and .001g can be achieved due to the integrated analytical balance.

The FD-620 provides the accuracy and dependability of the Kett moisture balances in a most economical package.
