Kett introduces the KJT-330, a near-infrared
moisture meter for use on-line in production facilities. This
unit provides instantaneous moisture measurement of both solid
and liquid samples, eliminating the time-consuming moisture
determination and batch waste associated with conventional
measurement technologies. Using high-speed sampling and
integrated humidity and temperature compensation, Kett NIR meters
are not affected by color or texture variations in the product.
The KJT-330 is designed to assist in many aspects of a company's
automated processes, providing significant cost reductions
through improved process control.
Using near-infrared light to measure the
reflectance/absorbance of water in a sample, measurements can be
taken without sample preparation or damage. The sensor-head is
mounted above the production line, and the wet based moisture
content is displayed on the control unit.

The KJT-330 is accurate to 0.1% and can measure moisture
contents from 0.1-100%. Menu- driven operations provide a simple
measurement procedure. Data can be down-loaded to a PC, lap-top
computer, or printer. Closed-loop process monitoring and
adjustment can be achieved when connected to a central process
controller.
Other models available include the KJT-100 handheld model, and
the KJT-200 laboratory model. All Kett moisture meters are backed
by a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
