New Orleans,
LA----Pittcon attendees who visit booth # 5028 will be able
to examine the new Kett KJT-270, a desktop component
analyzer designed for use in laboratory and QA/QC
applications.
Using near-infrared reflectance (NIR), the KJT-270 measures
moisture, fat/oil, protein, coat weight and other organic
substances during virtually any phase of manufacture.
The easy-to-use KJT-270 provides instant, non-contact,
non-destructive analysis of most liquids and solids.
As with all Kett NIR analyzers, the KJT-270 utilizes a "smart sensor"
design that integrates calibration and memory storage,
measurement display and data output from within the sensor
itself.
Industry-specific applications include:
composition analysis for grain processors and pharmaceutical
manufacturers, coat weight and basis weight in paper mills
or web-based polymer plants, BTU content of coal and other
fuels, and instant product identification/discrimination.
The versatility of the KJT-270 allows users to integrate
Kett technology into other laboratory and process control
points within their plants, helping to improve product
quality, reduce product costs and achieve customer or
government specifications. The unique multiple filter design provides users with fully
transferable calibrations.
They can calibrate a single system in one location and then
ship fully calibrated and certified sensors to plants
worldwide by simply transferring the coefficient data only.
Kett makes the world's widest array of filter-based near-infrared instrumentation,
offering hand-held, desktop and process analyzers. For additional information, contact Kett at 800/GET-KETT or
