Kett Introduces New LH900 Coating Thickness Tester
Integrated Unit Measures Non-ferrous Coatings on Non-ferrous Substrates

January 3, 1994

Kett introduces the LH-900, the first one-piece, hand-held coating thickness gauge that non-destructively measures non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous substrates for under $600. The LH-900 is accurate, dependable, and rugged, making it ideal for the business engaged in anodizing, painting, powder coating, and plating.

"It is simple to use, and will serve as a valuable asset in quality control measures," said John Bogart, Sales Manager for Kett U.S.. "The LH-900 is designed for the shop that is only using non-ferrous substrates."

The LH-900 offers several features that facilitate the measurement process. The unit comes pre-calibrated, has a guide for rounded stock, and an automatic "power-off" feature to retain battery life.

Other models include the LZ-900, a one-piece, hand-held coating thickness gauge that measures various coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates, and the LE-900, which measures non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates.

Kett offers a complete line of coating thickness testers with various options including memory, statistics, multiple calibration storage, and printer capacity. All models are backed by a three-year manufacturer's warranty.

Forty years of research and development have made Kett a worldwide industry leader in testing equipment. Other products include a full line of NIR moisture meters,
